ALLISON CALLAWAY
Founder and Lead Photographer
Recently tied for 3rd making her a Top Ten Fearless Photographer of the Year, Allison’s time spent behind the camera was preceded by her time in front of the camera. Her modeling career began at age thirteen when she posed for her first magazine cover, Teen Magazine. “I can still remember how excited I was when I found out I’d gotten the cover. I thought the pink taffeta and sequins dress was the most gorgeous thing I had ever worn. Oh the 90’s!” She spent the next ten years working as a model and traveling between Los Angeles, Paris, New York and Quebec, shooting campaigns for L’Oreal, Vogue, Lava, Fantastic Sams, Lee Jeans, Robinson’s May, etc. When she met Brian, it didn’t take her long to realize that they would make the perfect team. “Brian’s amazing talent with photography reminded me how much I loved working in the business and how much I missed it. We soon teamed up and found that my background in modeling and my eye for detail were the perfect match for his photography.”

Most recently named a prestigious Top Ten Fearless Photographer, Brian consistently places at the top of the wedding world’s most competitive contests from Junebug Weddings, Fearless Photographers, ISPWP, MyWed, SLR Lounge and more. His work has appeared in National Geographic, People, US Weekly, Inside Weddings, Architectural Digest, Brides, Town & Country and Flaunt Magazine. With Allison, Brian is one of the wedding’s industry’s leading educators with multiple speaking engagements and workshops annually. In his past life, Brian appeared in Seinfeld, Bernie Mac, What Women Want, on stage at the world famous Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago and in over 30 national commercials, including two that were rated funniest of the Super Bowl. To this day, he still receives residual checks that are often made out for just a few cents!

Lauren was recently named as one of the 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography by Rangefinder Magazine. Graduating at the top of her class at Brooks Institute of Photography, Lauren continues to push her craft with 14 Fearless Photographer Awards and Junebug Weddings Best of the Best Awards for the last two years. Working with Brian and Allison of Callaway Gable creates an amazing opportunity for potential clients – Lauren is available to shoot award-winning weddings on her own, or in combination with Brian or Allison.
Having interned with a fashion photographer in college, then working with Callaway Gable for eight years, Lauren is inspired by dramatic light and how it can help shape a mood or emotion. She lives for the moments and enjoys taking the time to get to know her clients and their families.
